0% of ticket sales

$99 a year to us. That's the whole bill, in US dollars. No CrabGate transaction fee, no setup fee, and no percentage of ticket sales.

Your card processor's fee. Payments go directly to you through Stripe. Stripe's card fee still applies; CrabGate never holds your ticket money.

If your buyers pay a booking fee where you sell today, they stop paying it.

For scale: at Eventbrite's published US service fee of 3.7% plus $1.79, a $20 ticket carries $2.53. $99 is about 39 of those fees. Source: Eventbrite help, read 2026-10-14.

The offer: I'll get your next event on sale with you, free

Paul Bădărău

I'm Paul Bădărău, and I build CrabGate. Until 20 December, I'm setting up every new shop myself. Pick your next real event, and we'll get it on sale together in one 45-minute call.

The call is free. You pay $99 for the year when you put the event on sale. If you don't, you owe nothing.

This offer closes on 20 December. That's 45 days from today. After that, you set up your shop on your own.

And if it doesn't work out? If your first event on CrabGate doesn't go well, email me within 30 days of paying and I'll refund the $99. No form, no argument.

By the end of the call, you'll have

  • Your shop, at an address you choose.
  • Your Stripe account connected, so ticket money goes straight to you.
  • Your next event built, with its ticket types and prices.
  • A test order in your inbox, so you've seen what your buyers get.
  • A Door Link for whoever checks people in.
Set up your next event It takes a minute and no card. I get an email the moment you sign up, and I reply within one working day. Your other events stay right where they are.

Questions about the price

Does CrabGate charge a fee per ticket?
No. CrabGate charges $99 USD a year, taxes included, with no per-ticket fee, setup fee, or percentage of ticket sales. Your own Stripe account receives ticket payments and Stripe's processing fees still apply. Use the Stripe fee calculator to estimate those fees.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes, to sell paid tickets. You connect your own Stripe account during setup. Ticket money goes to that account; CrabGate never holds it. Your CrabGate subscription is a separate yearly payment. See our price and payment terms.
Is there a free trial?
Better: Paul sets up your next event with you on a free 45-minute call. You pay $99 for the year when you put that event on sale.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. If your first event on CrabGate doesn't go well, email Paul within 30 days of paying and he'll refund the $99.
Is CrabGate free for community organisations?
Yes. Charities, nonprofits, and community organisations get free access. Email hello@crabgate.com and we'll arrange access with you.
Why US dollars?
We have one price everywhere. Your card provider converts $99 into your currency.
Can I use my own domain, logo, and colours?
Not yet. They're on our list. If they matter to you, tell us.
What if a subscription payment fails?
Nothing breaks. Your shop keeps working for a 14-day grace period, so you have time to sort it out. After grace ends, you can still check people in, and Admins can export data until deletion starts 90 days after the subscription lapses.
Can I start without the call?
Yes. Sign up and set things up yourself whenever you like. You start your subscription when you publish your first event.
